iRunFar Chat

I did a video interview with Bryon Powell of iRunFar.com on Sunday. His website is definitely the top site for American ultra running news and he's quickly developing an international reputation as well. He also happens to be a handy runner himself.
He has some fantastic and very inspiring interviews up on his site, so I'd encourage you to check them out here

There were lots of people out filming the course and I gave a few "on the fly/walk" interviews in french along the route. Here's one from Union Running World, a site run by a gentleman who was nice enough to keep giving me splits and feedback along the course. My blurbs are sprinkled throughout, but it gives you a good feel for the start and parts of the course (I'm at approx. 3:35; 6:09; 8:19; 10:45; 13:48)

Also, here's a clip of me deliriously saying some words in French at the finish line (at approx. 1:46)

Thanks man. Yeah, it was a lot of fun to meet and learn from all of you.
Sorry I never saw on you Sunday, I would have loved to hear about your experiences out there.
Hope you're able to kick back and get those feet up for a few days.

Cheers,
Adam

Adam, I watched this great interview with my daughter (13 mos.) and while we watched I said to her, "he's a little faster than daddy". As though on cue, she laughed out loud. I'm not sure if she laughed at me because she still thinks I'm some sort of small time super hero and nobody is faster than me - or she knows that you aren't just a little faster. Likely the latter.

Anyway, I echo Aaron's Tweet - it's great to see you remain so dam successful yet so dam modest. "well played", as he said.

Thanks Tom, those are seriously kind words. I'm sure that your daughter's daddy hero worship is still solid though.
