I just read a quote at Karl Meltzer's site-"Apparently to do well at this game, you gots to sports the beards." I agree, time to stop shaving and maybe by the summer of 2011 I'll have sprouted enough facial hair to be credible.
I guess you need every ounce of energy, including that needed to replentish facial hair, to complete a 100 mile race.
Having said that, you are outta control Counselor. Kilian Jornet looked pretty clean-cut to me, then again, he didn't win this time. Yeah, I know, it's people like me that make you want to do it even more.

The 100 mile has been a hard one for me to swallow, but I'm beginning to accept it.
